All is "well and good in NYC" for LTB

Living Tree Botanicals is pleased to find itself in superb, artisanal company as one of 3 New York-based skin care brands with creative roots in Brooklyn to be profiled yesterday by Melisse Gelula of "Well and Good NYC". Melisse and Alexia Brue have created a website that serves as the blissfully sage, cool and grounded guide to health, beauty and wellness for the discerning tastes of dwellers in Manhattan and environs.

Melisse's favorites from our skin care collection include the ever-versatile blue chamomile facial tonic (cools sunburn, soothes post-waxing, calms itchy bug bites!) and restorative seaherb mask (a divine solution for summer break-outs). Both of these Living Tree Botanical essentials are a must for summer beauty routines!

LTB + Tay Tea = Grace & Warmth

Pictured above from left: Nini Ordoubadi, master tea blender, Tay Tea & owner of Tay Home, Erin Van Cott, founder & president of Living Tree Botanicals, Tiffany Wheat, director of marketing & sales, Living Tree Botanicals

The opening celebration of LTB Artisanal Beauty Bar and Tay Tea Bar was filled with great friends, new introductions, divine sweet & savories, and much fun!

There's an almost visible "spark" in the air when friends and patrons of these two companies walk into Tay Home. While putting the boutique and new expansion into place, the LTB and Tay Home teams discussed at length the mutual goal of creating a new experience. From the light in people's eyes and the murmured "oohs!" and "aahs!" upon alighting at the top of the stairwell, we can say that this is truly a unique experience - one that resonates as delightfully fresh, with a warmly familiar "yes, this is it" feel to it. The key? Perhaps it's a space that doesn't ask too much, rather allows guests to focus on a moment of quiet beauty both visually and sensorially.

Sip Tay's tea of the day while nibbling delicately-sized, tea-infused cookies. Order a frittata and organic salad so simple, yet so richly layered in taste that only the power of Nini Ordoubadi and Lucky Dog Farm could conjure them. Eat at the bar, find a bench along Main St., or take it home to your own picnic table.

As for Living Tree Botanicals, we are pleased to present our entire skin care collection within this spa-inspired setting. It is a chance for our clients both loyal and new to experience the brand as we see it in our minds. We present a synergistic grouping of skin and spirit nurturing products that are meant to make the daily rituals of embracing the day and unwinding into rest that much simpler, that much more enjoyable - perfect for life in a modern world.

We ourselves are inspired! We feel the wind in our sails as we plan for a summer filled with opportunity and growth. Several Saturday afternoon artisanal beauty clinics hosted by LTB founder Erin Van Cott and inspired by the bounty of our local farms are underway. Custom blends will be bottled on the spot and available for purchase. Featured locally-sourced ingredients will include strawberries, raw honey, blueberries, and wild-crafted herbs. Dates and times to be announced - stay tuned!

What else to say, but come sip, sample and shop the LTB Artisanal Beauty Bar and Tay Tea Bar this summer!

LTB goes to The Owl & Moon

Thanks to some pretty fine ink from Karen Miritello in Upstate Life Magazine, we were recently discovered by Lori Briggs, a much respected retailer in West Burlington, NY. Lori personally tried our daily ritual mini kit in "clarify" and liked it so much, that she decided to bring LTB into her boutique The Owl & Moon, so named after a much loved children's book. Now you can find a selection of our daily ritual mini kits for face along with LTB's "clarify" collection featuring blue chamomile facial tonic and apricot kernal pure therapy in a charming spot just west of Cooperstown, NY.

From what we've heard, Lori has great taste and a shop filled with carefully curated gift and home items, so we are happy to be on board! We look forward to spending a Saturday morning this summer with Lori at The Owl & Moon and getting to her know her loyal clientele.
